Remote Viewfinder app good for
Works great with my 3GS and dv300f! Really neat to use as a remote for the camera and see the pictures/screen on the phone! I took a pic in my basement while I was upstairs just for fun.
Easy to use and very handy for taking group pictures without needing a timer. The range on the wifi link is impressive.
Very good app but I would love to see more features. Also, app always crashes when I try to set it on 10 second timer.
Some bad moments
Since the only thing being adjustable is flash on/off, this app is not really useful together with their powerful mirror less cameras.
Id love to see IFunction being added to the app in order to be able to adjust more essential settings prior to taking the picture!
Great concept. Too bad it doesnt work. Tried on my iPhone, iPad and even my Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 and no dice!!!! I hope Samsung updates soon as this was the main reason I bought the DV300F. Waste of time.
The iPhone will not "shake hands" with the Samsung Camera Network. Sees network and tries to connect but eventually times out. Failed 100% of my attempts with Remote Viewfinder.
For interest, downloaded Samsung Mobile Link which is designed to allow transfer of images from camera to iPhone over WiFi. Again, fails to connect although after several failed attempts, I did get it to connect once and succesfully transfered my photos from camera to iPhone. At least I know it is "possible" but until the program is modified to allow seamless connection, not useful.
Please fix asap. One of the reasons i bought DV300F. freezes a lot after the shot is taken.
This App crashes each time I try to connect to my NX1000. Great concept, too bad it doesnt work.
